IUPUI Swing Cat Bake Sale and Disco Party
The ISDC will be hosting a bake sale to benefit the IUPUI Swing Cats at this Sunday’s dance. We will need people to bring in individually packaged baked goods to donate. Bring a few extra bucks to get a tasty treat! Please contact Rebecca at clubdirector@indyswing.org if you are planning on bringing baked goods.
Get out your best clothing from the 70’s for this Sunday’s dance. There will be a costume contest for a free pass to an ISDC dance!

WCS Beyond Beginner Intensive
Mark Burkman and Alice Hager will offer a 2 hour WCS Beyond Beginner Intensive Workshop for dancers who learned the WCS beginner steps but want to accelerate their learning and fine-tune their techniques before going to intermediate workshops. This workshop will be held 1-3:30 pm on Sunday, November 1st (right before the Rebels dance) and the cost is $18 per person. If you are interested, please e-mail your contact info to Alice (alice_7619@yahoo.com) so she can inform you of the location of the workshop.
Night Club Two Step Intensive
Don and Jean will be teaching a NIGHT CLUB TWO STEP Intermediate Intensive Workshop at the Riolo Dance Studio on
Sunday November 15 from 2:00-5:00pm
and the fee is $25 per person. They teach for two or so hours and the remainder of the time will be allowed for practice. You must know these basics well: Basic Side, Lady’s Underarm Turn, Left Turning Basic, Right Turning Basic. They do need a minimum amount, so if you are interested and have not emailed Jean yet, please do so in order for her to count you in so she can confirm to everyone that they are ON for the workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your Night Club Two Step to the next level with awesome intermediate moves for this romantic dance!
